Very nice Rus style slavic helmet dated around the 8th century.  Also great for Varangian and the Khazars.  Made from 2mm thick overlapping steel plates riveted together. Peak has a hole in the top where you can add horse hair if you wish.  There are 5 loops around the rim for attaching an aventail.  Weighs about 5 lbs.  24.5" inside circumference.

Very well made. Better than I expected. The price was reasonable too.

Just what's needed for Moravian drozina. Nice to be able to customize the look, with or without a camail. The suspension system is the nicest and most versatile of any helm I've had, The wide cheekpieces on the chinstrap are great... until I saw it while worn I was planning on adding cheekpieces.
