48" chest: Fits up to 44" chest size measured over a gambeson and undergarments.
60" chest: Fits up to 54” chest size measured over a gambesonand undergarments.

Wedge Riveted Mail
This is the real thing and amazingly it fits. I bought the large size (I'm 6'4" and 290 lb). It comes wrapped in plastic and coated with a light brown grease. You need to clean before wearing or just accept the grease . The mail is a dull color - natural steel and looks VERY authentic (because it is). Consistent and well made. The only downside is that it is heavy. I can't imagine fighting a real battle in mail, helmet and carrying weapons - Vikings must have been incredibly athletic.
