Nice axe for single or two hand use. Drop forged axe head is made from 1055HC steel with a 7.25" cutting edge. American Hickory handle is about 30" long. Weighs about 2.25lbs.

My wife has wanted an ax like this to attack the invasive Wisteria vines that plague our woods. The design is perfect for chopping the thick vines that were wrapped around the tree trunks. The Hickory handle is strong and has a nice finish.
Steel is hardened nicely.
