Forged javelin head or small spear head with rough period finish. Hand-forged from high carbon steel. Tapered socket has a 7/8" opening. About 7.5 inches long overall. Edges are not sharpened.

Awesome javelin
Light, easy to attach to a handle, the edges are a bit barbed, and it catches fabric particles, but that is not an issue, it is easily removed with a file

Javelin head
Very rough finish. Point does not align with the socket for a shaft. Ok for a pointy thing to carry around, I suppose, but not for my project of making a facsimile of a usable weapon.
