These ankle-high shoes are modeled after archeological finds in Schleswig and Konstanz, Germany. A turnshoe was a type of footwear made of leather that was used during the Middle Ages and was sewn from inside-out, and then was turned right side out. Vegetable tanned leather. Upper leather is 1.8 mm thick and sole is 4mm thick leather. Hand-made in the authentic turn-sewn method. Sizes aren't very wide especially in the toes. If you have wide feet you might want to go with the next size up.
