Seated Tyr statue by artist Paul Borda. He is the god of war, courage, and law. He proved his courage when he allowed Fenrir wolf to put his hand in his mouth while he was bound. Fenrir would bite his hand off. This scene is depicted in our Seated Tyr statue. He is seated on a Kubbestol chair with a line from an Icelandic poem carved in runes on the back “Tyr God with one hand and leavings of the wolf and the prince of temples." Made from durable resin with wood finish. Size: 8”H x 3 ¾”W x 3 ½”D. This type of statue would have likely been put on an altar.

The piece looks great and depicts Tyr's defining moment beautifully. The price is right for it. I was not disappointed.
