This very nice Viking Sword is inspired by historical examples from the early 9th Century, most notably finds from the area around Trondheim, Norway, where the circular indentation hilt decoration was popular. Scabbard has suspension points and a period chape, giving the sheathed sword a very attractive appearance. Blade is made from 5160 marquenched spring steel. Construction is tang-riveted(peened) in period fashion at the pommel. Overall length: 37.375" Blade length: 30.875" Weight: 2lb 12oz

This is one of my favorite Swords. Lightweight, fast and perfectly balanced. The blade is very sturdy and flexible, Ive purposely let mine patina so now the central fuller has a nice dark stain. Looks fantastic.
Made to a reasonable specification in China. Well made blade. Pommel and hilt are acceptable. Not really a museum piece but quite nice.
