This sturdy Viking Throwing axe is engraved with a very nice dragon knot work design. Head is made from high carbon steel and has a 3" edge. Hardwood shaft is 19" long. Weighs about 2lbs.

Questionable quality
The head seems to be very good. The handle split on the first throw. Very disappointed.

Throwing axe
Excellent quality. This is no toy or just a display piece. It has serious strength and can hold a sharp edge. The handle on mine was much darker than depicted, but I like it better actually.

Best Birthday Present EVER!!
My BF got this for me for my birthday. It is heavier than I thought it would be. I can not be happier! I need to buy another axe holder for my belt though. This slides right out. Or, I just need to be creative with some leather straps. I love it.
