Runic Long Seax. This amazing seax has a blade made from 1065 high carbon steel that is decorated with runes. Modeled after an original seax which is on display at the British museum. Hilt is made of steel and has a full tang which is peened. Comes with leather sheath. Blade has an edge, but is not sharpened. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts.

Runic Long Sax
Purchased this Windlass Steelcrafts Runic Long Sax after seeing other reviews. Sax is nicely built, peened pommel, detailed leather wrapped handle. The only thing I would change is to make the two leather suspension straps on the leather sheath closer together.

Nice Full Sized Seax
A nice interpretation of the Seax of Beagnoth. The handle is more like a viking sword and the runes stand out more (I have both). Excellent quality. The tip has a longer profile and is quite pointed. Great add to my Ren Fair costuming. Excellent quality leather sheath.
